Orlando Postuma book illustration - "brand page"
Orlando Postuman is queer author Nora Ugron poetry debut, and needed a cover design and illustrations that would align with her feminist ecology work. The motif of mushrooms, their mycelial network and how they work together to decompose and transform old matter into new potentialities was the starting point. Integrating illustrations of oyster mushrooms with bright pink strokes and a custom font comprised of stars, the elements work together to give a specific visual identity to this volume.
