The Devil Keeps Dancing

T-shirt design for The Devil Keeps Dancing clothing label based in Sydney, Australia. The idea came from another illustration of mine and from a old art nouveau tin box. As the Art Nouveau style was born in France, we also translated the title in french Le Diable Garde Danse.
Judging by the name of the company I tried to give the illustration a sensual, erotic look through the character but also the color palette that I’ve used. I also tried to step a little away from the classic Art Nouveau, and combine it with a more pop „mondo” style to get a more modern look.
The original work will be screen printed on T-shirts in three colors Gold, Blue and White, the second light blue being the t-shirt.
