THE MEYERS MANX

"The Meyers Manx, a legendary dune buggy, stands as a testament to the creative vision of Californian engineer, artist, boat builder, and surfer Bruce F. Meyers. Originally designed for desert racing, this compact, recreation-oriented automobile left an indelible mark on the automotive landscape.

Produced by B. F. Meyers & Co. in Fountain Valley, California, from 1964 to 1971, the Meyers Manx took the form of car kits applied to shortened chassis of Volkswagen Beetles. This innovative vehicle quickly became a dominant force in dune racing, breaking records and capturing the adventurous spirit that defined its era. Over time, the Manx buggy evolved beyond the racing scene, finding its way into street-oriented models.

However, the company faced challenges, leading to its demise due to tax problems after Bruce F. Meyers's departure. Despite this, the legacy of the Meyers Manx endures. Inspired by the original buggy, Meyers Manx, Inc. was re-founded in 2000 and continues to produce new vehicles that capture the essence of the iconic design.

The brand's name and cat logo pay homage to the Manx cat, drawing parallels between the tailless breed's distinct "stubbiness" and the shortened vehicle's unique form. The Meyers Manx remains a symbol of innovation, adventure, and the enduring spirit of those who seek thrills on both the open road and the sandy dunes.

May this NFT serve as an immortal tribute to the exceptional vision and legacy of Bruce F. Meyers, capturing the essence of the Meyers Manx in the digital realm. May this digital representation ensure that the iconic automobile continues to inspire and evoke admiration, transcending time and space."
