K from Key

Illustrated Capital Letter

This Illustrated Capital Letter has a little trick. This key isn't any kay, it's a flying key, inspired on Harry Potter ones. So, J. K. Rowling, with her vast imagination, merged two real concepts, turning them into a single fantastic invent, and for that, I've been inspired for that, and I've mixed two different concepts, because of a typography and a illustration, I got a Illustrated Capital Letter. 

Basically, I've tried very hard because I wanted this K to be a Key.

The process of this letter may be easy, but I've done many attempts until I got the correct shape, and this, taking into account the shape of the key. 

First of all, I've drawn it with a pencil. Next, I've outlined it and its wings with a calibrated marker, and I've coloured the key's bow, and lastly, I've coloured the letter in black. 

It's done with callibrated black markers.
