adventure is out there • CBT November 2015 Feature

It's been a while!

In the past few months, my husband and I packed up our lives, moved to Columbia, Missouri, started new jobs and schooling, went on a few midwestern adventures, waged WWIII against a spider army, and- oh yeah- published two magazines!

Since moving to CoMo, I've joined the team here at the Business Times Company, serving as the Editorial Designer for Columbia Business Times, in addition to working on another publication, Machens Advantage, and doing ad design for our two other publications.

I work directly with our editor to concept and produce our monthly features, departments, photoshoots and stories. November was our insurance issue- which yes, even sounds boring to us. So we do what we do best and make business culture accessible and interesting. Our main feature this month was a 12-page spread on thrillseeking business men and women in our community. From diving with sharks, to mountain biking, to paramotoring (google it), we brought some amazing stories to the publication this month.

It's only been two months, but I am so excited to once again be a part of a team where everybody values creativity, risk, quality and asking questions.

I'm still working on getting a mockup template that fits our dimensions perfectly, so excuse the slight warping please, I just wanted to get it out!
