Cecil Hotel (Stay on Main. 636 South Main Street, Los Angeles, California. Built in 1924.

The Cecil Hotel is a 600 room hotel known for transient patrons, several suicides, deadly accidents, criminal activity, housing two serial killers, and mysterious disappearances.

With such widespread “paranormal” activity and violent crime, the Stay on Main (as it was rebranded in 2011) has inspired the loosely based-on story of the American Horror Story: Hotel season.
