Introduction

Gunny aka DDTank is a game of the Casual web game genre combined with MMORPG, in the turn-based coordinate shooting genre. On January 18, 2015, VNG released Gunny Mobi version to play on smart smartphones. To date, Gunny Mobi has more than 5 million downloads.

Main Site Design

Gunny PC is a long time project that keeps launching new promotion to attract users. There are 2 challenges for this task:

• Re-design main site after 10 years of launching

• Ensure interactive promotion sites follow consistently to Gunny game style but also continuously changing to be relevant with individual event theme.

Besides the iconic radiant yellow of Gunny, a bit of green and blue tone to be more click-ish and representative of youth and happiness of the game. At the same time, layout style is designed to be in manga chibi style with a sleek simple background combining with element dot half-tone to create a focal point from the website and to emphasize cute, energetic chibi character artworks.

Promotion Campaign

Gunny has a series of promotion to be launched based on the event in the year in order to attract users participating and receiving in-game/POSM rewards.

In general, layout and game rules are similar across events. Only theme and artworks are changed to reflect the specific timing of the year.
