CREATORLAND - Gen Z Works Different. So,Together We Build a New

LEGACY BUSINESS NETWORKING

ISN’T WORKING FOR GEN Z.

After running influencer marketplace Heartbeat for a number of years and becoming increasingly connected to the creator ecosystem, LA native Brian Freeman decided it was time to help professional creators succeed in a social business world dominated by LinkedIn. His goal was to create a platform formatted for the unique needs of content creators and influencers to display their work, connect with brands, and collaborate on campaigns.

BUILD LINKEDIN FOR GEN Z?

AN IRRESISTIBLE CHALLENGE.

We'd worked with Brian before and were excited to take on this new challenge together. First we aimed to quickly build a brand that resonates with Gen Z creatives as well as the brands that want to collaborate with them. Our asterisk logo symbolizes inclusivity and intersection, reflecting Gen Z's diverse interests & identities. It positions Creatorland as a hub for Gen Z creativity, emphasizing plurality and connectivity. The unique and playful color scheme and typography are memorable and differentiate us from LinkedIn and legacy social media.

FROM ZERO TO 100 REAL QUICK,

THE GEN Z WAY.

We knew early on that for Creatorland to be successful, we needed to create a fast & rewarding experience that included easy onboarding for new members, a new kind of profile / portfolio flexible enough for multi-hyphenate creatives, and a robust search and tagging system to help brands find the creators they’re looking for. Six months later, we were bringing people into Creatorland Beta.

CREATING

EXPONENTIAL GROWTH

Through year 1 Creatorland Beta built an incredible community of tens of thousands of professional creators and some of the world's coolest brands. The brand & product we built together informed a healthy seed round which fuels their exponential growth and powerful roadmap of features.
