Meringue Studio - Re.Brand Design

Branding is at the heart of every new beginning. Logo, Fonts, Colors come together to make brand missions visible to everyone. It is key to make something unique, and memorable.

About the project

Meringue Studio strives to make your digital products the best on the market by leveraging our UX design and No Code expertise.

Meringue Studio is your reliable partner to enhance the experience of your users, whether they are your coworkers or customers!

Meringue is one of the french dessert liked by everyone for it's simplicity, and aerial feel. It was important to keep in mind the origin of the brand name when designing the logo, and also use it to play around the brand's mission.

Logo Design

The logo needed to reflect the cooking aspect of the name. As it was a rebranding, the founder wanted to stay in the same vibe as before. I chose to make it simpler, adding sense to the logo, and playing with the name to make an identity that reflects the simplicity of the no code solutions proposed. As the brand mission is to approach project in a recipe framework, the cooking element was more than justified.

Color Palette

Colors are used to reflect the brand's mood and mission. Their true power lies in building connections and associations.

Each color of the brand has its own meaning:

Sunglow means Positivity, Cheerful.

Burn Sierra - Stability

Cornsilk/White smoke - softness, simplicity

Gunmetal - Modernity

Font

The fonts are chosen to make the brand unique, but also readable.

Trap is the main font for headings and, as for the logo, has small shapes that reminds the aspect of a meringue, or the curves made by a whisk when cooking.

Raleway is used for text, because it works well with the main font and is a very simple font easy to read.

Mockups

Mockups are a great way to have a visual representation of the brand, and also test its real world application.
