Project Overview: YummyPed is an aesthetically pleasing and intuitively designed mobile application that aims to create a seamless culinary journey for food enthusiasts. With its user-centric interface, the app provides an engaging platform for users to discover, save, and interact with a wide array of recipes.
Design Approach: My design philosophy for YummyPed was to enhance user engagement through simplicity and visual appeal. The color palette is a soft blend of warm hues that invoke the appetizing nature of food, while the typography is chosen for readability and comfort. I incorporated a card-based layout to organize information efficiently, making it easy for users to navigate through recipes, ingredients, and cooking steps.

Recipe Discovery: Users can explore a variety of recipes with easy-to-navigate categories such as Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, encouraging exploration and experimentation.

Design Challenges: The primary challenge was balancing aesthetic appeal with functional clarity. The aim was to ensure that the visual elements complement the usability without overwhelming the user, maintaining a focus on the app's culinary purpose.
