Project Overview

Problem Statement

Job seekers often face challenges in navigating through job search platforms, submitting applications, and staying organized throughout the application process. This UX design aims to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for job seekers.

User Persona

Our primary user is a job seeker actively looking for employment opportunities, ranging from entry-level to experienced professionals.

Design Goals

  • Simplify Application Process: Streamline the process of submitting job applications by integrating an auto-fill function.

  • Enhance Organization: Provide tools for users to track and manage their job applications effectively.

  • Facilitate Communication: Enable job seekers to connect with each other for advice through a premium chat function.

  • Provide Additional Resources: Offer resources such as interview help and immigration advice to support job seekers.

  • Generate Revenue: Introduce a subscription-based model for premium services to enhance the user experience.

USER-FLOW :

  • Registration/Log-in:

    • Users log in or register to the online portal using their credentials.

    Profile Building:

    • Job seekers upload their CV, cover letter, passport, and/or visa.

    • Auto-fill function populates the candidate's user profile from CV data.

    Data Input:

    • Users fill in personal information, qualifications, skills, experience, city, state, country, and country code for phone numbers.

    Job Matching:

    • Skills and experience are matched to job descriptions.

    Job Search:

    • Job seekers can filter job search results by industry and location.

    • Active location services map the job seeker's preferences.

    Application Tracking:

    • Users see a list of all their job applications and their stages in the process.

    • Unsuccessful job applications are greyed out and moved to the bottom of the list.

    Reminders:

    • Reminders are set for upcoming events like interviews and online tests.

    Support and Resources:

    • Users can access a page of pre-answered frequently asked questions.

    • An interview help section is available.

    • An article section on immigration advice is provided.

    Communication:

    • Job seekers can communicate with each other for advice through a chat function (premium service).

    Premium Services:

    • Subscription fee for enhanced services like CV help videos.

    Testimonials:

    • A testimonial section is available for job seekers.
