Resin Bound Stones concepts

This is probably the biggest design challenge I've ever had; trying to design a logo for a company that lays gravel drives. I figure if I can be creative for gravel, I can be creative for anything!

It was nice to be approached by my client, as many tradesmen have such bad branding, it's nice that my client understands the value of not using Comic Sans and doing it himself.

These were the initial concepts and I tried to keep to a light and muted colour scheme and conceptual use of stone shapes.
