Possible redesign of a medical website

This is a layout I did for a client, but it was never really done. But I didn't want it to be only on my hdd, that's why you got to see it today. The dropdown menu is opened and the right side is semi-transparent. I am not really happy ith the teaser boxes down there, but it was only a first try.
