Invitation and Peak-end rule
Integrating new individuals into your system is a pivotal step, especially when fostering collaboration. Why not elevate this process by infusing positive emotions and creating a connection with your product? This will always pay off in the long term run. I shadowed users through the whole invitation process and despite a less-than-ideal experience due to building only a proof of concept, there was this charming smiley illustration waiting at the finish line. The user? They smiled too, claiming the experience was surprisingly smooth – this is a cognitive bias called Peak-End Rule and if you use it correctly you can improve significantly UX with almost no cost.
