Overview

Ruthless is an online bingo game, with a live host that takes users through the different stages of the experience. I've joined the team to help redesign the experience, look and feel.

Challenge

The original designs felt outdated, clunky and unattractive. Many of the screens had already been built, therefore any major UX changes would cause significant delays in production. The bingo game needed a visual facelift, and being live-hosted added a layer of complexity. Tech hiccups were on my radar, and I had to figure out how to make each part of the game shine while sticking to the same theme.

Solution

I came up with a very intuitive yet entertaining design for the game feeding some UI best practices in. Each screen has been thoughtfully tested to understand the users' focus levels and reactions. Overall the look & feel bring together a gameshow vibe combined with a premium touch.

• Over 70 beautiful, pixel-perfect, ready-for-build screens designed in Figma

• 10 custom-made Lottie animations

• 2 colour themes

• 2 viewports (desktop and mobile)

• Fully scalable design system
