Task : Creating a High-Fidelity Meditation App

Course-end Project 2

DESCRIPTION

To create high-fidelity prototype using Figma

Description:

Today, we globally have millions of people practicing meditation daily. Statistics show that they use some of the top meditation apps. Lately, these mindfulness and free meditation apps have gained huge popularity. They are supposed to be one of four breakout trends in app culture in recent times.

Seeing a lot of money in this XYZ company, it wants to launch a meditation app called “Mindfit” and has invited students of Simplilearn to design this app for them.

Following are the features that they want the app to have:

  1. Users should be able to create their profiles to log in to the app.

  2. There would be a list of guided meditations. These are videos that the user can watch. These videos would be recorded meditation sessions that the user can do. The app must allow all its registered users to mediate with their application by providing them with a complete guide to it. This guided meditation would help users learn how to meditate and practice various breathing exercises.

  3. There would be a feature to listen to calming meditation music. There would be about 10 different audio files here. On clicking this feature, the user can select which meditation music he or she would like to listen to. Users should be able to listen to meditation music here.

  4. There would be a feature where all articles on meditation, anxiety, and depression would be posted. The user should be able to read an article they want to.

  5. There should be an option for having paid meditations for various levels of users, namely beginners, intermediate, and advanced.

  6. There should be a feature to allow Users to Track their daily progress and Meditation Time

This tracking of daily progress and meditation time is very important for users to keep going and improving. You need to include a tracking feature to let users know the daily time they spent on meditation, listening to calm music, or listening to guided meditation sessions. They can even track their progress and compare it to know whether they have improved or not.

Tools required: Figma or any other tool taught in class

Expected Deliverables:

  • Start with creating wireframes (these are low fidelity prototypes)

  • Create a mobile App on Figma or any tool you are taught (this is high fidelity prototype)

  • All the features mentioned should be covered

  • Use correct images and content as appropriathere...
