Web design for a female empowerment and connection app
Yomm is an app dedicated to cultivating a global community of Jewish women committed to daily personal growth and transformation. Yomm approached Verticalloop during the middle stages of their project, as they envisioned a large-scale social networking app designed to foster deep connections among Jewish women while promoting genuine interactions and meaningful Jewish learning. Verticalloop partnered with Yomm to help define the app's mission and vision, create its branding, name the app, and develop the entire app UX. Together, we embarked on a comprehensive exploration of the branding and app design, which involved moodboards to shape the brand's look and feel, refining brand messaging, a brainstorming session for the app's name, and crafting concepts for the app's interface and functionality.
As the app's colors were already established and its design was underway, my role was to further enhance the branding. This included creating a captivating logo, refining typography, developing a cohesive graphic language, and incorporating other vital elements to enrich the overall brand experience. Today, Yomm is readily available in app stores, offering inspiring content from remarkable guides such as Noa Tishby, Kelly Mcgonigal, Lori Palanik, and others. The app boasts a sophisticated and user-friendly interface, connecting women with daily inspiration and facilitating interactions through features like calendar synchronization and reminder notifications, seamlessly integrating into their daily routines.
