SKÅLBODA
A chair I had wanted but was unable to fit into the aesthetic of my room, thus I drew it as a poster instead.
Known for its timeless design (created in 1983), its metal frame and uncomplicated design was what drew me to it. But the idea of doing a blueprint poster came when I think of Ikea being a do-it-yourself type of brand, where we would receive manuals on how to piece the product together.
Which was why this came out, using the Flame Orange inspired by the colour of the chair and a dark-ish blue inspired by Ikea's colour scheme.
