Sly Fox White Horse Witte - Illustrated Beer Label

One of Sly Fox Brewing Co.'s longtime pub favorites, White Horse Witte, makes its gallant return to Eastern PA pubs and debuted in Pittsburgh. This beauty is available on draft and for the very first time, in cans! White Horse Witte is an elegant, unfiltered Belgian-style White Ale brewed with unmalted winter wheat. Soft and light in body, and delicately spiced with curacao orange peel and coriander.

The label art needed an illustration that grabs your attention on the shelf and pulls you in. The portrait of the horse, the running stallion and script lettering bring a sense of romance to the can and invite you to take slow savoring sips.

Professional beer can label artist who draws for local breweries.

The color of the can represents the light mouth feel and easy drinkability of the beer. Working with a limited color palette allowed the artwork and hand lettering to come to life. You'll almost want to curl up with a romance novel in the stable with such an elegant can label! Horse lovers may just want to collect this equine art after finishing the beer!
