Login Page Design for University

The goal with the redesign of this login page was to make it more accessible and user friendly by making users feel like they are in control. This was achieved by:

• increasing the font size for improved readability

• clearly defining the input fields and moving the field titles above their respective fields

• adding a "remember username" feature to make logging in quicker for returning/frequent users

• adding a show/hide feature for users to verify the accuracy of their password keystrokes while retaining privacy

• adding a "forgot password" flow for users to recover from possible login errors

• making the Log in button taller to reduce any possibility of mis-clicks

• adding more margin and padding (white space) to give the design more room to breath

Along with this update, the color palette was update to make the page appear brighter and more uplifting for users visiting the page.
