Void Station One ✶ Paperback
Details of the Void Station One paperback. A lot went into this. The aim of the cover was to intrigue readers and set the tone for a story that takes place in the very depths of pitch-black space.
Turning to the inside, the typography is based on classic references: its sole aim is to disappear and make the reader's experience a good one. I nevertheless took great care in its execution, adding touches like custom glyphs to add interest for those who care to look closer.
The project benefitted greatly from the advice of Peter Burgess, who patiently answered many questions about how to finesse the typographical details of the book's 240+ pages. Peter is a master of book design and I'm thankful for his input.
