The Hatch Logo Illustration by Steven Nob

Christian McDaniel commissioned Steven Noble to create an intricate woodcut illustration that represents the brand identity for a new restaurant called "The Hatch Rottisserie & Bar." The subject matter includes a rooster grasping an arrow with a mixture of wheat, rosemary, and other elements.The illustration was created on scratchboard and hand-drawn using a knife tool which was etched by scratching off black ink from a white clayboard residing underneath. Artwork was then scanned digitally and supplied as an eps file.
