Part One: Logotype

Come Up With A Brand Name And Create A Logotype For One Of The Companies Presented Further Down On This Page. 

You Should Hand In Your Logotype In Vector Format As Four Separate Illustrator EPS-Files. One For Each Colour Reference: CMYK, RGB, Pantone And B/W.

 

Part Two: Visual Identity Style Guide

Create A Visual Identity/Style Guide For Your Selected Company. The Style Guide Should Be Done As 12 Pages With The Following Content:

  • Cover Page

  • Spread 1 (Page 2-3): Table Of Contents

  • Spread 2 (Page 4-5): Presentation Of The Company This Spread Should Have A Running Text And Some Images. This Spread Can Be Considered A Follow Up To The Assignment "Your First Layout", And I Want To See How Well You Handle Typography And Core Layout Concepts. Create A Text Of Your Own, You Should Not Use The Description From The Brief. It's Ok To Come Up With "Facts" Of Your Own.

  • Spread 3 (Page 6-7): Presentation Of The Company Logo + Logo Usage Guidelines

  • Spread 4 (Page 8-9): Presentation Of The Company Typography, Brand Colours And Other Graphic Elements (Such As Patterns And Textures)

  • Spread 5 (Page 10-11): A Mood Board Displaying The Intended Style Of Photos And Other Visuals For The Brand (It’s Ok To Use Stockphotos For This Part)

  • Back Cover (Use For Whatever You Find Most Suitable ;)

Optional: Mock-Ups Of The Companies Products/Packages (If You Work In A Group Of Three, This Part Is Mandatory)

 

COMPANY BRIEF

Two Cousins From The Suburbs Of Southern Stockholm Have Combined Their Love For High-End Quality Cosmetics And Sustainable Living Into A Line Products With An Intended Launch Unto The Market In 2023. The Product Line Will Eventually Contain Everything From Quality Skin Care Products To High Fashion Make-Up And Make-Up Tools. First They Need Help With Coming Up With A Solid Brand Name, A Logotype And A Visual Identity For The Company. This Is A High-End Products In A Fairly High Price Range, And The Visual Identity Needs To Reflect That.
