Context

Music holds great significance in my life. I view it as a channel through which we can connect with both the people we already know and new individuals, immediately establishing common ground. For me, music is a means to express emotions, connect with others, and feel a sense of identification. In my leisure time, I thoroughly enjoy exploring and discovering new music, creating playlists with great care. I dedicate significant time to ensuring smooth transitions between songs and curating tracks I currently love, spanning various genres. This process is a personal challenge that I wholeheartedly relish.

Objective

Design the cover art for a series of personal playlists that I can share with my followers to establish connections with them and share an essential part of myself. I want the design to align with my new visual identity, incorporating the colors of my personal brand and utilizing geometric shapes. Additionally, I aim to inject a dash of emotion through animations on the covers to make them more dynamic and engaging.

Achievements

• I have successfully created a design that I am pleased with, one that I find both simple and eye-catching.

• I have integrated my new visual identity into the covers, adding a personal touch that reinforces my brand.

Creative Process

1) I began by designing the central part of the playlist covers, using geometric shapes.

2) Subsequently, I expanded the cover design to include inspiration from the format of “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” I added the playlist’s name and indicated that it was curated by me.

3) Upon reflection, I decided to simplify the design, aiming for a cleaner aesthetic that, when animated, would appear more attractive. I redesigned the central sections of the covers.

4) Finally, I added animations to the designs and achieved the final results for the covers.

Conclusion:

In summary, my strong passion for music has driven me to create visually appealing and dynamic playlist covers that reflect my personal brand. These covers serve as a means to connect with my audience on a deeper level, sharing a part of myself through the music I hold dear. Through this creative process, I've not only met my design goals but have also found a unique way to express myself and connect with others through the universal language of music.
