VAR is completely reliant on broadcasters to provide video in real time to officiate matches. Mobii removes the middle man (broadcasters) by using it's Microblock technology to deliver video in a digital format at a latency of 250ms. By doing so they can create a centralized system and bring autonomy to refs and match officials so they can control the video and catch offenses as they happen without the need to stop play and lose critical time in communicating the right angle.

Mobii’s video review software is made available through a web browser based application on the Mobii Encoders & via Mobii's cloud. Multiple users can join a secure session and work collaboratively from any device both locally at the stadium or remotely.With on-site Microblock enabled encoders, multiple streams can be delivered to remote production studios, globally, in real-time and in different output formats. This significantly reduces operating and logistics costs while maintaining performance efficiencies.
