Client devices (laptops, mobiles, tablets, TVs, printers, etc) connected to an organization's network access many applications (e.g., Gmail, Salesforce, Paypal etc.) across the globe.

Automated Connectivity Evaluation (ACE) is an intelligent software used by network engineers that proactively evaluates the connectivity and performance of a globally distributed organization's network in accessing the applications before any of the actual client devices suffer a negative experience.

Here are a few of the screens from the redesign project.

Dual-mode Dashboard

The main dashboard that a network engineer constantly monitors to understand the geographical distribution and the application-wise distribution of failures and poor performances of the network based on the automated evaluations conducted by the software.

Evaluation log

A tabulated page consisting of all the evaluations (ping, speed test, iPerf) carried out on the network along with a drill-down interaction to view all the details and the results (including the log) of each test the evaluation was comprised of.

Evaluation Setup

Every organisation has its own set of important and trivial applications that the clients in their network have to access. This page provides the functionality to configure these applications based on their importance and the appropriate set of evaluations that have to be carried out for them.

Alert Email

Whenever a critical application or service has been evaluated for failure or poor performance the network engineers get alerted by email with all the details of the evaluation (with log) to quickly decide to act on or ignore the issue.
