Walkies: More Than Just a Walk

Walkies is a dog walking app, built to make it easy to complement your dog's life with new experiences. From training, to walking, to boarding, Walkies is an app for humans who want to give their dogs fun, safe, and supportive experiences.

Cognitive Processing

I started with a competitive analysis of a few dog walking apps, and created a user flow map to try to understand how a user would use the app.

Getting Creative

Once the analysis and planning was done, I created first some wireframes based on my user flow. Next came a mood board of dogs on walks to get some perspective on the colors and moods associated with dog walking. Based on the mood board, I created 3 color palettes and ultimately decided on one that is a bit earthy but still light and easy to read.

Putting it Together

Then I created a small design system, and built the individual screens. Based on external feedback, I iterated the screens to come to the final design.
