Design Taught Me to Fail Often

Through my internship, moving to New York, beginning the Type @ Cooper program, and just experiencing life in general, I've had a ton of failures. Failures with homework, file setup, taking the wrong subway, the list goes on and on!

From all of those failures, I've learned something in return. I know that each and every one of those failures have never been "mistakes" because I've never regretted any of them. Those failures and challenges that I'm faced with have molded me into the person/designer I am today. I continue to push myself each and everyday to learn new things and to never stop learning. Failure allows growth to occur!

As far as this piece goes, I wanted to incorporate more personality and overall care into this piece. My homie @Kyle Letendre inspired me to be more hands on with this piece. Instead of using brushes and crazy tools to create/place the stars, I placed them all by hand along with the depth/shadows in the type. Give this Adventures in Design podcast a listen to get inspired yourself! po.st/fYKN3E
