PORTRAIT - POS PIN

Point of Sale (POS) system by using a PIN.

Many businesses, including stores and restaurants use this security measure to limit access, to the POS terminal.

User Identification: When an employee or cashier approaches the POS terminal.

Entering the PIN: The user is prompted to enter their PIN on the screen or keypad of the POS system.

Authentication: The POS system verifies the PIN by checking it against a stored database of user PINs.

Access Granted: If the entered PIN matches that of an user access to the POS system is granted.

User Functions: Once logged i; the user can perform tasks, like processing sales, managing inventory and handling customer payments.
