Roots & Rituals Inside
On the inside of my peace pipe package I created a pattern that ties modern-day America to classic Native American patterns. The altered red, white, & blue of the American flag resemble colors used in Native American patterns, and the angular/triangular design is also reminiscent of their patterns. As I mentioned in the original post, the peace pipe's handle is inserted through a slit across the top of the package, poking through and acting like a handle for the box, allowing the peace pop to hang inside. The arrow die cut on the front of the package acts as a window to see the pipe.
