Magical Forest

First of four illustrations made as a part of June in Bloom series.

The prompt 'Magical Forest' invoked a sense of whimsy and playfulness. Bright, distorted mushrooms and psychedelic moths take centre stage, rounded out with colorful flowers and leaves. This forest is a home for sprites and fairies.

The illustration is explored further as a half drop seamless pattern. The application for it is virtually endless, from textile to wall papers, cellphone covers or even phone wallpapers. To me, I see this artwork on stationery, diaries, envelopes and bookmarks.
