KeeK | translator for videos
You may have heard of the GlotDojo extension, which is a tool that helps language learners analyze movies and learn from the dialogues. I designed something similar to this tool, and I will explain it in more detail.👩🏻💻
This is the page where the user can choose which subtitles to display and adjust their font size and color. The user can also download the dialogues if they have premium mode.🍿
(As you saw, I designed two modes for this section.)👆🏻
This is the normal mode of subtitles👆🏻
In this mode👆🏻, while the movie is paused⏸, four icons will appear that allow the user to:
1. Change the language settings.
2. Save the dialogue.
3. Share the dialogue.
4. Copy the dialogue text.
👆🏻now When the user clicks on a word, they can see the synonym of that word in their preferred language.🤓 They can change the language of the synonym by clicking on the country icon.
now what if the user clicks on more?👀next shot…👇🏻
In this design👆🏻, you can access information such as word family, definitions, and examples in separate and clear categories and switch between them. I aimed to create a more organized design that saves time and reduces the user's cognitive load by following the hierarchy. This enhances the user experience.💡
n that's it...bye for now🦊
