Blob Character Pattern Design

I was reading an article by Aveline Stokart in the 09 issue of "Character Design Quarterly" about her cover art for the magazine. She was discussing the use of exploring shapes to create a design for a unique character. I wanted to try this method myself, and I ended up making some unique blobby characters out of random shapes, that I came to really like. I liked these doodles so much, I turned them into a sticker sheet!

It was a great exercise, and helped me to further understand the purpose of basic and irregular shapes in character design.
