WEB DESIGN AGENCY WEBSITE - FLUXFIVE

The story of a random dreamer

When I was starting out in web development, my goal was clear: I wanted to create websites that not only functioned well but also looked great. I couldn't stand the thought of building sites with dull user interfaces. This drove me to embark on an entrepreneurial journey, leading to the establishment of my web design agency - FluxFive.

During this journey, I crafted a stunning UI for FluxFive, which me and my partner later rebranded as Xboring Tech. But that's a story for another post.

Problem

The vision was pretty clear wasn't it?, but here was the problem, I knew nothing about making a creative and innovational user interface that breaks the ground standard. At this point if you ask me anything about design, I'll tell typography, color, spacing, alignment and wireframe.

Most of this things I knew fairly little about. But there I was, in desperate need of a website Interface that no only looks stunning and attracts traffic but also turns those visitors into actual clients for my agency. Yes, you can say am a wild dreamer, and I'm proud to save that's true.

User Research

Honestly, when I started my journey, I didn't even know about "User Research." I was just getting started, you know? But what I did was pretty logical. I looked at what other web design agencies were doing, checked out the work of other designers on platforms like Dribbble (even though it made me doubt myself) and studied stats to figure out what makes people click the "buy now" button. Hence the bizarre information architecture you see below.

Wireframe

Truth be told, that information architecture you see above? Well, I sketched it out on the fly while putting together this post. It's a close reflection of the whirlwind of thoughts and ideas swirling in my mind during the project. Once more, I was a lone ranger on this mission, so I simply translated what I envisioned as the perfect fit. And that gave birth to the wireframe below.

And the miracle happen....

Behold the result...

Thank you for staying through this boring story of mine.

Can you leave a kind comments so I can know am on the right track?
