Toolkit Entry

The entry page consists of all toolkit topics, materials, articles, and standard content elements. The content is associated with the toolkit by Topics and each will contain related materials.

Each material under toolkits will lead to an “All Materials” template if more than the listed selected number is on the entry page.

Toolkit Topic Structure:

Each section collects the Topic information (headline, summary, top 3 materials associated with the topic).

Due to the length of this page estimated, the decision to only showcase the top three materials listed allows for a simple review to see what could potentially related to the Topic. This meant an "All Materials" template page would be pushed to relocate all Topic associated materials (videos, documents, presentations, etc) this page is identified by the action link below the featured materials.

Sticky sidebar navigation was established for users to access quick finds of specific toolkits in the form of anchor links that will drop down the page to the desired Topic headline as displayed currently as a hover link on the entry panel (see “How Human Trafficking Is Related to Healthcare” section Topic title in layout) as well as a hover effect on the sidebar that will follow the user as they scroll through site.

Sidebar Navigation:

We have updated the sidebar to mimic the main site sidebar, using a pink progress bar that coincides with pink link markers that show up as you get to each Topic title.

The sidebar will update (with a thicker line) to indicate which Topic the viewer is currently on as well. Each Topic is identified with a hover action of an anchor link icon attached to this interaction. Anchor links allow for easy drop-down of the content wanting in the long list of Topics on the entry page.

Responsive Designs

Mobile designs were created with the idea of stacking all information implemented on the toolkit entries. On mobile, the anchor links would be the prime star of this layout.

The sidebar is located in a dropdown above the Toolkit headline. Inside users will find the anchor links, recent toolkit CTA, and search Toolkits. This allows the dropdown to be sticky and follow the user as they navigate the long page.
