SendEngage: Enhance communication with leads and contacts

In 2022, the entrepreneur Justin Tinkle reached out to us looking for a software development partner that could help him bring his product to life. Justin has a background in sales and marketing, and is very familiarized with the importance of email as a communication tool for marketing teams.

Based on his journey and his colleagues' experiences, he realized it was a good idea to provide marketers with a better tool for managing B2B email campaigns. As he had already launched a successful company that was acquired, Justin knew the importance of relying on the right partner to bring in the necessary skills for building his app.

A partnership for making the most out of email marketing

SendEngage is a world class sales engagement platform that enables sales and marketing professionals to identify their target market, acquire new prospects, and retain existing contacts through automated one-to-one keep-in-touch campaigns.

When we started working together, Justin already had a very sharp and thorough idea of the expected product. Working in the field for many years and being a future user himself, pains, problems and solutions came naturally and in a straightforward way.

Information architecture was pretty much decided so we were presented with a detailed features sheet. However, as we started focusing on wireframes, we realized there were still opportunities to do research and optimize users’ flows; we proposed to conduct interviews and personas to gain deeper insight into people’s related jobs and pains in order to deliver a design that would successfully map every possible problem.

A more informed, improved product design

The result of those interviews was primarily a validation of the client’s structure, powered by a new vision to shape the product according to how users would best perceive and interact with all the information SendEngage had to offer.

By conducting research, we identified problems and potential points where the client’s initial product idea could go one step further improving future users’ experience. Processes and information had to be clear and goal-centered in order to help people accomplish their engagement target.
