Revised homepage copy

I’m updating my website so that it’s more attuned to potential freelance clients, and part of this process includes revising the homepage. By editing and refocusing my core message, I’ve trimmed the number of words from 151 to 98. I’ve also added a clear call to action, which links to a new page that provides more detail about what I do.

Here’s the proposed copy; I welcome your feedback:

I’m Paul Robert Lloyd, an independent designer, writer and speaker based in beautiful Brighton, England. I work on meaningful projects for responsible organisations around the world.

I’m interested in politics, architecture, travel and volunteering; I was a Games Maker at London 2012 and Clyde-sider at Glasgow 2014.

One day I will rescue a dog.

Available for hire
I help organisations like John Lewis, the Guardian, UNICEF and Mozilla – as well as start-ups and small businesses – design and develop purposeful digital products that can be used by all.
