Data-Led Event Share Redesign - YPlan

This piece of work is live on both iOS & Android and deserves a mention due to the huge influence the redesign has made.

The apps originally had an in-app feature called 'Planner' where the user could invite their friends to an event (all managed in app). Using data it was found the planner invite success rate was low so we decided to take the 'Planner' out of the app and let users choose how they wish to invite friends / make plans. Allowing users to use networks they are used to such as WhatsApp/ Messenger etc has increased unique Share Event attempted / Event details viewed close to 300%.

In doing this change we have simplified the sharing process and increased event detail views.
