Fontanka Illustration - Magazine Mockup

When I saw the Nike Air Force One Fontanka shoe design, I was really inspired by its interesting and abnormal shapes and colour. I wanted to create an advertising spread for the shoe that played off its bright colours and bold form. I felt a certain resonance with work of M.C. Escher and abstract interior design and used these two concepts to inspire the illustration which I then turned into a magazine spread that you ca see below.
