The Approach to Fixing Boring

Approach to take a simple Word Document into a professional, eye-catching booklet layout that could be printed to hand out at meetings or have on display in the office.

Bringing in brand coloring and setting a typography standard, Virginia Wrecking will now have a template that they can use for any statement booklets going forward instead of using Word Doc defaults.

Interior Pages

The interior layout design was focused on drawing attention to images and having enough typography hierarchy so the users did not feel like they were reviewing a novel but a fast wrap-up of each section/tab.

Experimental Typography

Pull out quotes in accent coloring to break up content and quick information. This also breaks up all the structure, blocks and sharp edges of the design with overlaps and a pop of color.

Featured Images

Image collages were included to break up content and give the reader's eye break before continuing to digest each section.

Another added element to show off the supplied images was a banner gallery with a small texture (image or color) behind the images to help the space not feel as empty, with white space located on the bottom of the panels.
