Songwish Nightingale

► "Songwish Nightingale".

► Last week, I underwent a lengthy hospital examination and came across an old, somewhat 1990s-style painting on wood in the waiting room - worn, partly faded... I remembered, when there were a lot of such wooden "paintings" in my parents' house. I especially remembered the composition with a bird on a tree branch - just a visual decoration, a banality, that did not carry any special meaning at the time, but now I suddenly remembered it with special warmth.

► Since I don't have a mobile graphic tablet yet, I had to take a notebook, a pen and remember how it used to be a long time ago - to make a sketch on ordinary paper. From memory, I roughly sketched a general sketch, and I did the main work digitally. The drawing is a vector graphic.
