App Icon Exploration

These were some of the app icon ideas I explored for the Gumroad dashboard app.

This app notifies you every time you make a sale and shows you a list of all sales made. At one point we thought about calling the app Pulse, since it gives you a pulse on what your audience is buying.

Our creators have a unique relationship with their audience. They don't just have customers, they have fans. I tried to stay away from the idea of using representations of money (since customers are so much more than transactions). Instead, I wanted to show the excitement of a new sale or the pulse that you have on what your audience is buying. Some of these ideas tied in with explorations around the animation of a new sale.
