Lottie animations all all the rage, and for good reason — they're kind of mesmerizing and pretty fun to make. I'm sure users scroll up and down to watch them draw and undraw themselves just as much as I do.
Not to neglect the fact and their main purpose as UI/UX elements. Some of them encourage users to continue scrolling, others callout an important block of text, and some are just to create an emotional "ooooo" reaction.
The main images have an interactive element that creates a "perspective" shift as you scroll. iPhone's do the same. It gives the illusion of depth.
