Rinauta

Rinauta's main goal is to assist users that have rheumatoid arthritis. The application had to be designed that would allow accessibility and help solve user problems. Rinauta is a hybrid mobile application with an accompanying smartwatch. The main goal of the smartwatch is to track the user's movement to determine when they are going to feel pain. 

For the project we had to choose a persona that had a certain disability, I chose Christo who has rheumatoid arthritis. His main pain points were that he wasn't able to use a computer mouse for too long due to his hands becoming unbearably painful and that he struggles to find support systems that can help decrease pain in his hands. 

Rinauta allows the user to track movement which allows the program to send the user notifications to stop working before his pain becomes too much. They can use the stretch assistance on the app that will help them decrease their pain doing stretches.

There is then also a community chatroom that allows Christo to reconnect with others that has RA and has a 24/7 medical chat room that is always ready to assist.
