Snippet Send

Snippet Send is a study aimed at reducing technical knowledge through the interface and interactions of an app that interacts with IOT devices.

Initially starting with a two part goal: find some solutions to ease the technical knowledge barrier & design an app that utilizes Figma's new component properties, creating a more functional app. Having utilized many different apps to interact with networked devices, the process feels obtuse with multiple steps to develop a script along with the understanding which device is connected and which scripts can be sent. This study focuses on scripts or code snippets that take the form of interactive interfaces.

Small interactions with the widgets. Each widget would send a new command to the networked device after interaction.

Organizing favorited devices allows for quick access and understanding on which device is which. Often times, apps that interact with networked devices use IP addresses which can lead to confusion. These cards allow for photos, names, with their descriptions.
