Nummy Pumpkin Beer Label
According to local legend, the ghost of Algonquin tribal chief King Nummy haunts the passage from the mainland to Hereford Inlet, which he and his people traveled over four centuries ago. This same path was a popular route for bootleggers during Prohibition, who hung bed sheets in the windows of shoreline shacks to mimic the mysterious spirits of yore; a ploy to deter any superstitious gumshoe. Relive our indigenous spooky tale through the scene masterfully depicted by artist Russ Simmons.
