WhatACrisp!

Last year I was commissioned to create some robot characters for a fast casual chicken restaurant in South Korea. The chicken was largely made using an automated machine so the idea was to create a robot character that not only would become the brand mascot, but also was a representation of the process. A chef character was later infused to create a sidekicky, Calvin and Hobbs situation. I explored a lot of personas for the little robot. Cute, curious, dopey, clumsy… Small, tall, fat, thin… Most of which ended up in the robot junkyard. But I just stumbled back on this project and forgot how much I loved some of these guys.… any favorites?
