I'm delighted to present my project aimed at redefining social interaction on the Square social network. As part of my work-study program for my first year of a master's degree, I had the exciting opportunity to work on optimizing the interface and user experience of this social network.

Objectives :

1. Improved User Engagement: Our main objective is to create more engaging and meaningful social interactions for Square users, encouraging them to actively participate and interact with content and other users.

2. Simplified Navigation: We aim to simplify navigation on the platform, making it easier to discover new content and participate in relevant conversations.

3. Personalizing the Experience: We aim to offer a personalized user experience by recommending content and connections based on each user's interests and preferences.

Methodology :

1. User Research: We conducted in-depth surveys and interviews with current Square users to understand their needs, preferences and frustrations when it comes to online social interaction.

2. Competitive analysis: We analyzed the functionalities of successful competing social networks to identify best practices in terms of user engagement and social interactions.

3. Prototyping and User Testing: We created prototypes of new features and enhanced social interactions, which we tested with users to gather their reactions and suggestions.

4. Implementation and follow-up: After incorporating the feedback from the tests, we implemented the changes and set up a follow-up to assess the impact of these improvements on user engagement.
