Fried duck is duck meat that is fried and served with fresh vegetables. Fried duck can be found in street stalls to restaurants and luxury hotels. Because fried duck is usually eaten with rice, a street vendor for fried duck has written a menu of fried duck on a banner that says Duck rice. Until now, it's still rare to find duck dishes that are cooked or served other than fried. Duck rice or fried duck is usually served hot with fresh basil, cucumber, and chili sauce and eaten directly by hand. The most distinctive feature of fried duck is the marinade, which is yellow oil smeared on top of the hot rice.
