School Communication Poster Design

This design visualizes the multifaceted communication flows from schools to their three primary stakeholders: staff, parents, and students. Inspired by years of experience and knowledge gained by collaborating with over 175 high schools, this poster presents a general overview of school communication.

The communication is categorized into:

  1. Active - Direct messages demanding attention, such as push notifications or physical letters.

  2. Passive - Information that stakeholders can access on their own, like news updates on websites or details in school guides.

  3. Response - Replies to inquiries from stakeholders, including general parental questions or expectation management within the school context.

  4. Crisis - Critical communication moments for which a communication specialist must be prepared to respond timely, comprehensively, and with the appropriate urgency.

This design served as a discussion point during a Communication event in March 2023, where the nuances of each type of communication were explored. The outcome is a visually rich and insightful poster, available in A2 size, which aids both professionals and laymen in understanding the intricate communication dynamics within schools.
